Making a Friend

There is this girl at my school who has been talking to me a bit lately. A few weeks ago she said that my outfit looked cute, and after we were done working on our project in math today, she asked if she could take a picture with me. I said yes and she explained that it was to show her mom (we went to the same preschool so I guess her mom would want to see how much I've grown) and said that I look cute.

About a half an hour ago, in our other class together, she asked me what I was doing this weekend. I said probably nothing, and asked her what she was going to do. She said that she's gonna see a movie, and when I asked which one she said Batman. I asked her if I could have her phone number since we've been talking a bit lately because then I'd be able to text her, and she gave it to me.

I hope you can become good friends with her and everything works out great! :)

I made a new irl friend recently too and I'm really glad I was able to let my guard down with her. She even left me a bag of snacks and some nail polish by my door with a cute card, and got my dog a birthday present! She is my age too, which is the demographic that I have the hardest time with.

I'm going to a nightclub next Friday and I think I'm going to invite her, and her boyfriend. I don't like to party a lot but it's nice to have someone to do "girl stuff" with. She likes hairstyling and makeup art too, and has a cute and friendly dog (a Boxer) the same age as one of mine and she said she wants my help training the dog.

She and her boyfriend both really like Dogo Argentinos and they said that if my dogs have puppies someday they will buy one from me. She also wants to go with me to Agility classes.

I had tried to make friends with another girl a while ago and she ghosted me. My last female best friend really screwed me over financially, and lied to me constantly and took advantage of everything I did for her, and I was hesitant to make friends my age, but I think letting my walls down a little bit has been worth it!!

I have made a few friends in my dog training class too that I'm planning on hanging out with and having our dogs play together. One of them has a cute Poodle, one has a Great Dane, and one has adorable Bull Terriers. None of those are breeds you really see around anymore so that makes me so happy!!!

I think it will be really nice for you to have a friend too :) Hopefully you'll enjoy the movie together!

Great news for you too. I really got screwed by a female. She has felonies, l tried to be open-minded but nope, she is dishonest. It's disappointing. The other female l know that lives a city over seems to have a hidden agenda which creates anxiety for me so these days, l prefer myself. She asked me to drive over, and l declined. Then she became pushy about it. I told her no politely. But l don't like the fact that she was pushy.

My state has the highest number of people with felonies. The country club l worked at hired a lady for the kitchen, and she had 14 felonies. She ripped off some poor waitress's cash and credit card from her purse. That waitress quit. I have no idea why but that day l put my purse somewhere else. The lady was fired after her background check was run and was escorted of the property, however not before she went through some employee purses. I went to a convience store and the cashier was being escorted into a police car because of cash missing. Just another day here.

That's awful, I'm sorry :(
I've been used by criminals too. And the former friend I mentioned here, I've posted about a bunch of times; she always told me she forgot her credit card so I had to pay for everything, and I kept falling for it :(

I spoilered this because it's super petty, and also kinda off-topic. But it's a lesson I had to learn about making friends. Read at your own risk!
She also used to invite her boyfriend to my house all the time, when I told her she couldn't and that I didn't like him, because he was a scam artist (he bought things that were worth $200 and sold them for thousands of dollars) and he sold off his painkillers that were prescribed to him after a surgery.
One time he was at my house and he pulled like a few thousand dollars out of a duffel bag and counted it on my kitchen table! After that I was like "Um, how about no."

That friend and I had a huge falling out after I started calling her on her crap, and she ended up blaming me for the whole thing and told everyone I was a bad person and that I threw her out of my house. Then she told everyone about my autism diagnosis even though I had told her to keep that confidential. And she said she only wanted to be friends with people who were not autistic and didn't have mental health issues. She literally told me to my face that I "used to be normal but got a lot worse." She tried to turn all my other friends against me but they're not stupid!!
But she got her karma, because she parked illegally in a fire line in my neighborhood after I explicitly told her NOT to, and her car got towed and she had to pay to get it back. LMAO

And people wonder why I don't trust people and have trouble making friends. Lol. This is not even scratching the surface of what people have done to me
But I think I have turned out okay, considering!!! I'm not letting any of that stop me from making friends.
