Made a new friend at The Mohawk

This is the short version of what happened:

I made a new friend while attending a music show at The Mohawk last Friday. Her name is Jennifer and I initiated contact with her first. I ended up getting her phone number and we interacted through out the show, even danced together. But it didn’t stop there! She invited me to go to the show’s after party at the Elysium club and we danced together some more!

That sounds encouraging. You and Jennifer stay in touch, ok, and the minute you get a chance, go find some more ways to beat depression. (She may be a big help.)

Is Jennifer pretty? What kind of personality has she?

And also you're a very good writer so if you want to give the longer version go for it!

Bottomline, he ventured he gained.

Now phone her and let her know the great time you had. Thank her. Follow-up is critically important.

Do it!
This is legit advice here - that little extra connection might do the trick.

Markness, IF SHE GAVE YOU HER TELEPHONE NUMBER SHE WOULD PROBABLY LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU.

And you would probably like to catch up with her too.

This maybe one of many or the one. You have to dip your toe in the pool everyday and see how you feel. I am truly happy for you.

Good point @Ronald Zeeman . Sometimes the one guy who has always stuck it out through thick and thin ended up being the guy for me. I stuck it out and was there for him. And we are still both there for each other when the chips are down.

I still can't go up to someone I don't know and talk to them so congrats on that. The closes I did was a few weeks ago when I asked a woman at a controlled after church to hang out after when they were doing a coffee hang but this is a big thing I already knew her two previous weeks from Tuesday life group.
