He can't wear rings, and he can't wear necklaces that are metal, does anyone know of a place that makes soft necklaces that i might be able to attach a ring onto? i want to make sure that he is comfortable, i love and care for him so much. Thank you to those who help!

A great place to look for things that many of us would like to 'play' with is https://www.stimtastic.co

It may not have what you are looking for in this particular instance, but as an Aspie, that site sells many things I'd be very happy to be given by my significant other. (And no, I have no affiliation with them, other than as a happy customer).

Oh, and welcome!!!!

A quick search brought up the following site: http://www.rings-things.com/Learn/Stringing/
I don't know your boyfriend and what exactly is comfortable for him, but there are many suggestions on that site for different materials for necklace cords.
Once you have found the right one, it probably won't be difficult to find an online shop or even a shop where you live to buy some cord since you have the right key words for your search after finding the right material.

I like @AO1501's suggestion too. A spinner ring on a cord could be an interesting idea.

I'm guessing that he's got some sort of allergy and will have a rash or something if he wears metal objects. This often does not apply to pure gold, as it is rather chemically non-reactive.

Does he already wear metal hanging on a cord? I guess that might work if it's hanging outside of clothing, but would guess that the same problem would occur if it's inside clothing or when without clothing.
