I think I got them all on here. lol It started with 1. I could sit and watch them all day, they all have very unique personalities. Some want picked up and cuddles, some scream when I'm petting them. One plays toy piano 10:30 a.m. to let me know it's time for breakfast. I've become obsessed, which is easy for us to do. I quickly had to learn everything there is to know about them, nearest relative is the capybara. But I know they all like me. lol

Oh, my kids now know me as the 'crazy old guinea pig lady'. lol But that's okay because they give me purpose. :)

Between choosing kids who call me "old crazy lady," and cute guinea pigs in fancy hats, i would go for the latter :D

Heh piano one is adorable. All animals are like this, of course, when we choose to see them not as a food. Cows, goats, chickens - all of them are persons with their own personalities, likes and dislikes :)

Fluff babies, so cute. And unlike kids, you don't have to brush them, because they are always hair perfect.

Looks like Pats has her own "posse". All twelve of them!

Yep, a bit easier to manage than having a capybara on a leash, which I find hysterical on YouTube. But they're adorable too in their own way. Enormous, but mostly docile animals that can be domesticated. But you might go broke paying for their food!

My son keeps telling me he's going to get me a capybara and I told him I could never afford to feed one - hard enough to feed the guinea pigs. So everything I get him now includes a capybara something. I've got some little resin capybaras that I plan to hide around his house first chance I get. :)

Oh, might I add it takes 50 pounds of hay a month - then you also have to give them vegies and pellets. :)

Well, if you get one at least you can save money on transportation costs if you get a saddle for your Capybara. Yeehaw!

I quit watching when I learned that they eat their own poop every day.

They look a lot like my fuzzy winter slippers. ;)

They've been domesticated for 2,000 years. Their poop contains lots of nitrates and great for fertilizer, many farmers are starting to use them to keep areas mowed and provide natural fertilizer(and there's so much of it. lol). Because they are strictly herbivores, their poop does not contain e coli or other harmful bacteria. And they, also, will eat their own poop (the lighter color ones) if they need to replace nitrates. :)
They are a source of food in south America, where they came from. A lady had come to my house and when she seen all the guinea pigs, she asked if I will eat them. lol But NOOOOO!!!.
Oh, my grandkids love them.
and they'd make cute little fuzzy anything.

Can I occassionally post a picture? I took this one and thought the one in background looked a little wild and this one a little concerned. LOL The crazy haired one is actually a beautiful guinea pig - just has crazy moments. lol
