I dislike my hair color/eye color

The reason is because it’s like the default hair color and eye color you’d see on a video game character customization screen. That’s right, dark blue eyes and dark brown hair. That’s why I have and it’s such a common combination which just sucks. I mean I have this weird grey color around my both my irises, not sure if that’s something bad, heard it could be central heterochromia. It just sucks, that’s all.

What color hair and eyes do you wish you had?

It’s difficult when there is something about our body that is tricky to change, but we dislike.

I have dark brown hair and green eyes, and freckles, and I actually do have central heterochromia. And there are still lots of things I dislike about my appearance. I can’t change most of them though.

We have no control over our natural appearance. You can always dye your hair or wear contacts or something, I have experimented with those things, but in the end we have to learn to be comfortable with ourselves.

I fell down the stairs a few months ago and injured myself and had to have my nose reset. I think my nose looks great now. But it’s sad that it took an actual physical change to feel better about it.

So many things in life are completely out of our control. It’s best to just live our lives to the fullest and do the best we can with what we have.

I have brown eyes and black-brown hair (most people call it black but it has brown and orange in it, if you look under the light - the orange was mostly in my beard but is now grey). Pretty boring.
.
What I really didn't like was my nose. It looks broken but isn't. Just a big knot of bone where the cartilage fits on, and it is a big hump.
.
I'm older so just accept my appearance as it is. Not my fault, I was born to this body. So as far as your hair and eyes, you could try hair dye, but know that it is bad for your hair and scalp. And for eyes, I don't think there's a lot, unless you wear colored contacts, that you could do.
.
Do you not like it because of the common combo on video games? I don't think dark blue and brown hair is all that terribly common, but maybe the video games think it is the most "Wanted"? So it is default. Maybe you are just the lucky one?

I just don’t like because whenever I make a character, I switch the eyes to dark brown or like amber so it doesn’t look creepy. I started feeling insecure about my eyee due to Reddit posts about how blue eyes are unattractive, not sure if they’re talking about blue eyes in general or the crazy ice crystal blue eyes.

That's a little weird, I have never heard anyone say blue eyes are unattractive. I think it's a great eye color.

colour is one of those things that everything has to complement everything else. Hair colour skin colour. what you are wearing That's why I really like African fashion when I first saw it about 40 years ago.

Brown hair and blue eyes are not a very common combination, and it's quite pretty.

Love yourself and your heritage. Thousands of generations of ancestors survived and thrived through wars and glaciations, for you to finally be born. You might even have royal blood.

I'd suggest getting a membership on ancestry or if you have a really nice mormon friend, having your family tree done.

Love yourself and your lineage. Everything from your big toe to your belly button, to your body fat distribution, to your curl pattern, to even your temperament, all goes back thousands of generations.

Honor your ancestors- smile at yourself next time you look in the mirror.

There may be a natural tendency towards finding that which is different from your own more appealing. This has been identified in studies of higher primates. It is believed to be tied to instinctive drive for a expanded (and healthier) gene pool.

But the way I look at it, your own doesn't matter. The salient point is to find your partner's attractive.

And something that I have learned over time is every combination under the sun can be attractive. It's the whole package so-to-speak, not the details that matter.

If anyone is going to base their self esteem off of the trolls in their mom's basement, on Reddit, then Heaven help them.

Reddit is so toxic. People go on their for the explicit reason of starting an argument or hurting people's feelings.

Thank you, kind woman :)

I was thinking that too, blue eyes and brown hair isn't very common I think. I know a woman with that combination and she looks great.
Brown hair and blue eyes is uncommon, however, dark brown hair with blue eyes is common I believe, it depends on the shade I believe.

Both my siblings had white blond hair and light blue eye when we were growing up. I've always had brown hair and blue-green eyes that look grey at a distance. The odd cygnet among the herons that didn't quite fit in, and I was the one people commented on, random people I didn't know telling me how pretty I was...It still happens on a pretty regular basis, which is very weird.

I'm as normal looking as the next person. Nothing out of the ordinary, so I really don't understand others' comments. Mostly, I just assume people are attempting to be nice, however socially awkward it is.

Blonde hair is such a rarity I wish I had.
