Handycam video cameras has been the thing maybe from the 1950's up until the late 2010's since smart phones had replaced the technology. I have a dislike of making home movies and YouTube videos using smart phones like as if I am Tik-Toking, since I do hate "Tik-Tok". The fun and joy I have doing this the old fashion way is the editing and it's something that I enjoy doing as a hobby, since I will have to give one of my outside YouTube videos as an example, since I had been using a Go-Pro as well.
This is an example of one of my outdoor YouTube video that I've edited doing all the filming with the Canon LEGRIA HF20 and the Go-Pro Hero 3 for most of the time lapse shots.
It's 2024 and I can't resist handy-cam video cameras despite that they're turning into antiques now. The other day, the in-built microphone had stopped working on my Canon LEGRIA HF20 cam-recorder, the technology that used to film this YouTube content as shown above back on 1st November 2021. This all happened on the 4th January 2024 since this was second hand, I recall purchasing the Canon LEGRIA HF20 second hand back in August 2019. It's a glitch in the semi-conductor flickering the wind screen function that I never once used, when I was making an outside video on the 4th January 2024, this problem had began.

Later afternoon, I looked around for a new cam-recorder, all I can buy was a Sony HDR-CX405 and this appears for me to be an inside only camera since it's light weight and it's not the same as the Canon LEGRIA HF20 which is the cam-recorder that I am emotionally attached to. With my new Sony cam-recorder, the picture quality was better than the Canon and I just don't like the weight and maybe it will take time to get used to since I am not used to the function with the Sony. At least this does the job.

Later in the evening on the 4th January 2024, I found some luck that I was able to replace my Canon LEGRIA HF20 after I purchased the camera from an antique dealer in Europe and I couldn't resist it due the emotional attachment that I have with this camera. I love the weight and all the functions and the familiarity with this technology. I have taken a gamble since a few months ago I have spent a bit buying new batteries for this camera. This camera is second hand too. If this new now Canon LEGRIA HF200 works out for me, this will be my outside camera when I film all my outdoor YouTube contents.
What if the Canon LEGRIA HF200 turns out to be faulty? Or that the package from Europe is lost or stolen?
Here comes my plan B, it was the next day purchased a new video cam-recorder which is a Andoer HDV-201LM hoping this to be my plan B as my outdoor filming cam-recorder. I brought this at a cheap price, all brand new and I am hoping this will work on me the same way that the Canon LEGRIA HF20 always has. If the Canon LEGRIA HF200 works perfectly as if the problems on the 4th January 2024 never happened, left with no imagination that the in-built mic on my Canon LEGRIA HF20 didn't play up, I will be a proud owner of 4 fully functioning Cam-recorders including my Go-Pro.

I haven't mentioned much about my Go-Pro, at the moment all I have is a Go-Pro Hero 3 and very old school. I love filming underwater and this is why I have this and something I may need to upgrade on in the future. It is great for time lapse filming when making YouTube videos outdoors. I only brought this back in July 2021 and took me while to understand the technology despite the COVID-19 lockdown laws prevented me to try out the Go-Pro. I do love the Go-Pro except there isn't much of an audio since it's used for my underwater filming and the time lapse, I always used background music anyway. That all I wanted the Go-Pro for.

Those are my cam-recorders and this what I love using since I find recording movies from smart phones is something I do not like. I am feeling sad that cam-recorders like the ones I love using are phasing out due to Technocrats and Technocracy refusing to accept there are people who want to make movies the old fashion way. Anyway I was overdue to upgrade my camera technology and I am happier than ever to still have those things. It's to me a great hobby using this kind of hardware and I will have to go on a social media crusade to prevent technocrats to phase out production of handy-cam recorders.
