HULU PLUS - Your Favorite Show

Grumpy Cat

Well-Known Member
It's me, Grumpy Cat, and I just decided to add Hulu Plus to my repertoire (did I spell that right?) of movie watching thingies (Netflix, Amazon). First thing I want to say is - why am I watching so many commercials??!! That gets on my nerves.

Anyway, with that small talk out of the way :p, the reason I wanted to make this thread was for those who also have Hulu - there are so many shows and movies to watch AND I only have 1 week free to see if I want to keep Hulu or not. That's just way too much pressure for a girl like me that could lead to more gray hairs or wrinkles! So, I need some help finding out what are some of the best movies or shows you guys watch on Hulu or Hulu Plus. Trying to figure out what to watch is making me GRUMPY!!!!!

Ok. No booing. I'm watching some reality shows. I like watching "The Housewives (of wherever)" mainly for the psychology of how people are in relationships and friendships with others. I've seen Orange County, a couple New York's and all of the NewJersey Housewives. Today it's Miami. Btw, my Aspie friend, it's very beautiful down there where you are. :)
Anyway, I can't believe (actually I can) how these women are treating each other and still call themselves friends!!! It's not because of where they live that makes them so shallow - all Housewives act pretty much the same way no matter where the shows are filmed. It just amazes me (to a point) how people treat each other and expect their relationship/friendships to still work. I don't know if men are the same to other men, but women are backstabbers! I totally believe in a person taking care of themselves and all, but these women take it all to a whole new level. I'd get exhausted just trying to keep up my image with women like these. Orange County and New York were the same - all about looks. There's a lot more to life than just your looks like having solid relationships with people and very few of these women know how to do that. I'd be embarrassed to be in a Housewives show!

**Note to Aspies - most NT friendships are actually like what you see in these shows - nothing special, so you aren't missing out on much. You find one good friend you can actually trust and who will accept you, then you will have accomplished more than most NT's.

Seriously? NOOOOOOOOOOOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(the "H" is to keep the pronunciation)

Yes, yes, it's true, Ste11aeres. I know that's hard to believe. Don't you want to be a part of all the drama, too?:p

I'm still watching this show and I can't believe that these women are really nice looking and do a lot of stuff to keep up their appearances, BUT the men they are with are really not good looking at all! It's gotta be the money. Duh.

I tried Hulu Plus on an extended two-week trial from a podcast I listen to (this was when I was housesitting and had access to decent Wifi). I did not care for it at all. I didn't like the ads, and once, without warning, they pulled all the episodes of the earlier season of a show that I was catching up on. I realize Netflix does this sometimes too, but at least Netflix doesn't have ads!

Yes, I hate the commercials. And then some if the things I want to watch can only be played on my computer and not streamed on the Roku. I don't get that.
