How many people on the spectrum operate watercraft?

If you are one, are there any noteworthy things about you when it comes to boating? What portion of aspies operate watercraft?

When I was little, living on a large lake, I used to have a sailing license. Really liked the way of interacting with/navigating the amazing forces of nature. I also know a possible aspie who worked on one of those big mulit-mast ships.

I paddle surfski kayaks multiple times a week. On a few occasions in the past I operated a small motor boat and a PWC. Enjoyed the PWC (Yamaha Waverunner with a crazy amount of power).

When I lived up in Idaho in my late teens. I work at a marina and drove all kind of boats. Everything from jet ski's to fishing boats, from kayaks to cigarette boats that could to 70 mph on the water. I was a dock boy that did valet service for a lot of people as well as take boats out for testing after being repaired at the shop.

Today I just own a Polaris waverunner that I mainly use for pleasure and for my freediving exhibitions. It's cheap to maintain and easy on the gas.

Never operated a watercraft, but, enjoy them when someone else is at the command.
Growing up in the midwest my Dad always had bass boats for the lakes.
Now here on the Gulf of Mexico I like the speed boats.
I find it much fun to ride up front and buck the waves in the wind and sun.
Plus I've always loved fishing.
