basically, i think i have hfa. i stim (nail biting, pacing, rocking back and forth, repeating words/phrases i think are comforting/funny, etc) i have very poor execution dysfunction, trouble picking up social cues and im very socially awkward. i was once the "gifted child", but high school shows no mercy. i think im intelligent but im slow when it comes to learning and doing things people do normally at my age. ive been often called lazy, and my depression doesn't make it any better. all in all i just wanna be around like minded people for once.

Hello there qw0, welcome! Check out other threads and sections of the forum, maybe you'll find something you like ;)

Hi and welcome. I hope you enjoy it here, people are friendly. Sounds like school is tough, sorry to hear that. We are all a mix of talents and stuff we are less good at. As you get older you'll be able to specialise more hopefully, and play to your strengths, that's what I noticed at school.

Welcome to the forums!
High school was rough for me and I was a gifted child also.
But, depression, anxiety, not fitting in with peers was too much.
I home schooled High, but, at 19 started University, and business college.
I did just fine with those classes and became a pharmacist.
So, things can certainly change. :)
