Games design course at local College

Thinking of enquiring about doing a level 1 course at Sheffield College, if I can get funding from the Socials to go.

However, does anyone on here know if there's any, preferably free or incredibly cheap game design course available online? I know there's the course in Unity which I'd love to do but I don't have a Windows 7, 8 or 10 PC to run Unity although I am trying to save some loot to get one hence my thread in the technology section last week.
