Majority of the time. When I watch someone do something, I think of ways how things can be done better. Example when I use to upload a truck for temp work. I aim to grab product in a way to do the least amount of bending possible. I will also find ways I can just slide the item on the pallet aiming to do the least amount of lifting possible. I mean, these temp jobs pays little money. Why the hell should i work my ass off?
I think people are afraid of change but without change there would never be innovation.I always just figure out how to do something then people come along and say "no you're doing it wrong do it this way" and it makes me mad because why didn't they tell me before I figured it out the hard way?
Why, yes I do - all the time! ( It's how things are done around here ) I am a jazz buff; it is always on at our house, that, or something else... *Got out of the shower yesterday, and Frank Sinatra's "I Did It My Way" was on... Wet, and naked, I howled along with old blue eyes - doing a bit of "can-can" on the chorus! Then, I realised the blinds were open. A very startled, and somewhat traumatised crow was staring in the window I shouted : "What? You've never seen greatness before???" Off he flew - probably to the nearest therapist's office *Life is just way too short to worry about what other folks, ( or crows ), think. I spent much of my life failing miserably at "normal"; now I take pride in excelling at "unique"Is there something that you do your own way instead of the way "its supposed to be done"? I'd like to hear about it.
I made the most delicious "omelet" a few weekends back. Served it up with a side of crunchy sourdough toast, and watched my husband make a right pig of himself What I didn't tell him, was that "omelet" started out as a souffle IOW : It "fell" in the oven Never feel bad about an honest mistake; it's how we humans learn. Mistakes are all part of the "creative process", and besides, some mistakes aren't really "mistakes"... They are only creative "tangents", and "detours", that can take you down a road you didn't even know was there Yep, that "omelet" wasn't just delicious - it was downright "glorious"I always just figure out how to do something then people come along and say "no you're doing it wrong do it this way" and it makes me mad because why didn't they tell me before I figured it out the hard way?
People have been asking me if I'm left handed my whole life.
Also don't huck no chairs... wth!
We were tearing off a roof... just helping a friend and his crew. They (all pro roofers) were peeling up 3-4 shingles tossing them off into piles. One guy on the ground picking them up and filling the trailer.
Did that one viciously, hot summer, down in south LA, with my dad - hard work. *It was on our own place - had to strip it right down the boards, haul it all off, then the real fun began My dad decided to cheap out, and not rent the magnet - we picked nails for years to come
