Concerns about living independently

I want to live independently, but have concerns. One of them is finding a safe place to live. Another is finding a place that doesn’t have a long wait. Also, if I must live with someone else, I need to find someone who is trustworthy. I’m working with an independent living specialist, but that person has been hard to reach. So for me, it feels like I’m alone in this search. I’m not sure how I can move forward.

This is a big deal for you and will raise many concerns and aspects of the unknown, keep trying to get hold of your support and if sharing a living space, take time and prehaps if you have a person your trust get their view as 'independent living specialist' have a job to do and won't always know who you are and what you need, to feel safe and confident in your living space is so important it's why i'd rather live a simple life and struggle a bit financially than rent out my spare room

What about price and location? I see you have Seattle listed as your location and I know anything within 30 miles of Seattle is very expensive. The first place that comes to my mind when it comes to safe and closer to affordable is Marysville. Or anywhere else going further north.

I never thought of Marysville. I’ll look into that.
