Any Shintoists on the spectrum here?

I grew up as a (non denomination) Christian until I became a Atheist and and now I'm a Agnostic Shintoist, though I don't worship any 神(Kami) cuz I live in California where there are no 神社(shrines) here. Not that I thought there were since literally noone who isn't Japanese knows what Shinto is lol.

I'm a non-denomination Christian like you used to be. I took a Japanese class last semester, but I don't really remember all of the culture stuff.

Yeah last year I had this funny realization about how Christianity and Shinto are polar opposites, like the mere concept of Shinto would be condemnable by The Bible due to being "idol worship" among other things.

How much Japanese would say you know? I'm been learning for 4 years and am ironically still mediocre:D
