Echolalia

Thank you for all your replies. I realised that the tone of my first post did make me look like a victim of sorts...im not! Also it wasn't clear - he is ASD, and I'm NT.

He is so far from being abusive! He's gentle and sweet. That's why I found the repetition of rude words so baffling. I just stumbled across something called Echolalia in relation to autism.

Do any of you have any insights into that?
