I am doing things out of order, but greetings!
You may call me MerCsDs (alike Mercedes :3), or Monet.
I’m here for intellectual and platonic interactions so yippie!
I am self diagnosed as HF-ASD but actively seeking a diagnosis since I kinda need the benefits rn. I am AuDHD, among other disorders I am juggling because ‘life said so’ /hj.
I am an introverted extrovert so I apologize in advance if I’m overstimulating, do let me know if that happens.
I am still unsure of my main special interest since it’s snowballed into so many different directions.
I very obviously enjoy psychology, I love philosophy, neurology, biology, theology, herbology, sociology, anatomy, physiology, and the list goes on. Although I know most about psychology and adjacently neurology- though I’m not yet a professional.
I englobe those kinds of interest into ‘Love of Knowledge
I love writing, literature, poetry, drama, culinary arts especially baking over cooking, painting, sewing and fashion, photography, cinema, music, etc. the main ones being writing-reading (I write prose, poetics, trying drama); music (I sing, own a piano and an acoustic guitar); and cinephile, I’ve recently finally gave into my cinema hobby, watching a lots of movies and I’m starting to review movies (am more than happy to share my Letterboxd if that interest anyone).
I englobe those kinds of interest into ‘Love of Arts

I’m going to continue to blabber on, I consider myself a **philosopher** (love for knowledge and working on my own theory which is nowhere near finished); **writer and poet** (also curious reader), **curator** (I dabble in lots of different art at some point); **psychic** (on a good day because I struggle a lot with that notion, although it’s based on intuition and psychological pov); **musician**, **environmental socialist**, and a **healer** which is one I’m actively seeking to learn too.

If you’re read all this thank you and looking forward to enjoying chatting about one thing or another ;0

Prefer to keep my age private since I find it irrelevant to anything besides when it comes to romantic matters and I’m only here for intellectual and platonic interactions so yippie. I am a legal adult tho.

I have many similarities with you. For instance, I'm a psychic. I talk with the dead. It'll be interesting to read comments that you make along The Way.

Sometimes I ask the dead about future situations but a lot of times they are reluctant to discuss. An example of talking with the dead is when my dead mother dictated her funeral to me. So, I suppose her dictation was kinda an example of future-talking. At any rate, I felt closer to her in that experience than when she was alive. . . .

Yeah it always surprised me that ghost hunting videos are such a common occurrence still since spirits and the dead never have been that talkative in general. I’m sorry for your mother especially for her feeling closer in death. Life things are weird, do you hear them or do you have another way of communicating?

I "hear" telepathically and I "feel" spirits' closeness. One time after work, I was sitting in my recliner reading, as I often did, when I felt a spirit's presence come in through the front door, walk down the entry hall way, and enter the den. I knew that it was male and I knew that it was beneficent but I couldn't identify him. It was such a powerful experience and totally unexpected. I got up out of my chair and started pacing. It followed me into the master bedroom and then back. I asked my s.o. if she "felt" anything. She was in the kitchen, looked at me weirdly, and said, "no." Finally, this presence reversed his pathway, going out of the den, back down the entryway, and out the front door. Then, he was gone. A night or two later a cousin called to tell me that his dad (my favorite uncle) had died. Then, it made sense. My uncle had dropped in to tell me "goodbye" before he went on to wherever he needed to be going in the spirit world.

That’s saddening but remarkable. I personally would not like to be able to hear or see spirits since I’m already paranoid enough :v but I’m glad that he got to say goodbye. Also that’s kinda funny, that he literally didn’t say anything, and heartwarming that he just wanted to see you both one last time.

I was so shocked by the experience that it didn't register to ask the spirit, "Who are you?" I asked myself if it were my father. But he was mean, a domestic violence perpetrator, an alcoholic, and a child abuser. I knew immediately it was not him. Like I said, I knew, also immediately, that he was loving and kind. I've had other spirit-visitors but none have been frightening. By the way, at Mother's funeral while I was telling everyone what she wanted said, a niece who is also psychic said she saw her grandmother's apparition standing beside me with her arm around my shoulder. smiling. . . .

Is that like a "standup philosopher...?"

That’s so striking, had I been in your position with him or when your niece mentioning grandmother I would have been in tears. It feels like such a blessing and just so emotionally charged.
