Even the Grinch of the family will enjoy these films.

'Tis the season to be jolly! Which is why you need to keep these funny Christmas movies on hand all throughout the holidays. We love old black-and-white Christmas movies and romantic Christmas movies (we can’t wait for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas to start) but between wrapping presents, baking Christmas cookies, and dealing with your extended family, sometimes you just need a good laugh this time of year.
A handful of these movies are suitable for all ages, so even the littlest kids can join in. But there are some that are best saved for an adults-only party, and can—and should—be viewed with a heavy serving of eggnog.
Even those who aren’t the biggest fans of Christmas may find themselves cracking a smile after watching Buddy the Elf, Kevin McCallister, or Clark Griswold wreak total havoc during the holiday season.
But with every comedic misstep, there's a heartwarming lesson to be learned (and it's usually Santa who's teaching it). So trim the tree, deck the halls, and get your Christmas dinner to-do list taken care of ASAP.
That way, you can check off as many of these funny Christmas movies as possible without any stress or distractions holding you back. Now that’s a happy holiday.
