Sunny here. High of 41 expected this afternoon.
Should melt the ice from the road.

Road was slush and hard packed snow.
May get some accumulation Thursday. Up to 7 inches
    is the current forecast.

Was warm and sunny today. 42 degrees.

It warmed up today and my allergies started acting up.
I finally defeated the gargoyles but my character died from poison after scoring the death blow on the last one. Fortunately, the game saved before the poison killed my character.
I return to the library today.

I’d love to work in a library but I would have to re-train which is not always possible. Still, I can make do my own library at home.=D Really interesting that you work in a library.

I have been there for 16 years now. Why I’ve stayed for so long is a very turbulent story.

Get a corncob pipe & some Ray-Bans and go in like MacArthur--I have returned!
I'm studying in a library today. It's quite nice really.
I guess people here do want me to give up on my hopes and dreams. :(

@Rodafina I don’t mean every single person here. I just know that there are some who dislike me and don’t want me to get better.

I think this is an excellent topic to present to your therapist.
The focus on the feeling that people dislike you and wish you harm.
Wouldn't you like to know how to deal with that without constantly
repeating it to yourself and making yourself angry and unhappy?

You are the person who wants to give up on your hopes and dreams by listening to others. Why?
What I want is always denied.

When I decided to start dating my goal was to get one date a week, starting with women who knew me, from work, from my outdoor activities. I saw that as practice of sorts. Fate intervened and I met my future spouse. Women enjoy attention, and respect and acceptance and somebody with interests who knows how to navigate the world. How well are you prepared to be that man?

I even asked a shy looking girl out for coffee and she turned me down."
You did more than I ever did. I never even attempted that even with the few possible single girls that I know. I think it but the words refuse to come out of my mouth.

Tony. You have been so positive lately. Single women are like us, they would like to be noticed, accepted, and receive affirmation of their value. Act that way and you can break through. Until you try you will never know how attractive you may be to some woman.
Is there hope for me or should I just give up?

I can put it like this, I don't know if there's hope for me. No one knows that, no one knows the future. But giving up is not an option. So you shouldn't give up.

    I feel like a loser again. :(

Do you ever acknowledge that this type evaluation is part of the condition of depression?

Suppose the person you're talking about hating was someone else.
What can you think of that would help that person maintain a more rational point of view?
Power is still out at home.

If the electricity was out here, I'd have no water because the well pump wouldn't run.
Heat wdn't be a problem, because of the wood stove.

I could melt snow for water for some uses.
Having no lights wouldn't be good.

I'm so scared of the power going out tonight because I have a bunch of dogs boarding with me and we're in subzero temperatures right now :(

I need to make sure Petey and Morrigan are ok.

Morrigan’s stuff is downstairs while Petey’s is upstairs.

I went back home to get some stuff and both cats are ok.

What I was asking was, how did it come about that your mother & stepfather take care of
one cat and you take care of the other, as a general thing?
    Markness
    Markness
My mother wanted Morrigan while I’ve been caring for Petey for many years now.
Was it general anesthetic you had?
    Or twilight sleep?

Did they give you a prescription for pain medicine?
    tree

    Prescription Tylenol & Ibuprofen?

Any idea the name of the anesthetic you had?
    Markness
    Markness
My mother and stepfather have shelf bought containers of both things.

I think it was propofol. I looked up my MyChart but I don’t see the name of the anesthetic.

Propofol is a light duty product, often referred to as inducing twilight sleep.

"shelf bought", so OTC, over the counter, not prescription pain killers.
Not being able to properly sleep and do most activities due to the power being out is wearing on me.

A few years ago pigeons brought down a power cable. Each time I thought of something that I could/wanted to do I couldn't because it needed mains power in some way. Nothing short of a miracle that cable didn't cause a fire though. It came down in a field of highly flammable crop stubble!

Wait, why does the power being out prevent you from sleeping? Anyway it could be worse... where I'm at the power goes out if someone breathes on a pole too hard. I keep a lantern on my desk here at all times because of how frequent it is.

    Markness has a CPAP.
    Requires electricity.

Sounds like they don't have a generator for emergency power outages.
