I am not sure how that is connected? Was there smth happening in USA? I don't read news about it

@Tired - it's the Charlie Kirk murder in the US being blamed on transgendered folk.

@TBRS1 why not on all white folk? or on all who breath air? what a stupidity...

Without getting political, there is no possible explanation.

There is a certain large, brainwashed, antidemocratic, violent, noisy minority that believes in, justifies and celebrates terrorism. Political zealots are the problem. Anyone could be a Charlie Kirk, if you say something an extremist on either side doesn't like. I hope the penny drops sometime soon, but it will probably take more assasinations first, especially with how easily assailants can 3D print ghost guns.

@Tired The dumb thing is, from what I've heard, the killer had literally nothing to do with trans people at all. Nothing. Straight white guy on the political right. Same side as Kirk.

@Misery now I am even more confused..

His romantic partner he lived with was trans and his mother said her son was radicalised by the left. Even Al Jazeera reports it.

@Tired Basically this: The extremists on the right were hoping that the left was to blame, so they could have excuses to get nasty. When it turned out to be one of their guys, so to speak, well... time for a distraction/scapegoat. Trans people are usually used as both at once. There's really not much else to it.

@thejuice Wait, what? Huh, that's new to me. That explains a bit more.

Yeah there is a bit of a war over the narrative, so it is confusing
T
thejuice
But yes there is no use blaming trans people for it
