Poor kitty. Hopefully she will recover from her surgery quickly.

Thanks @FayetheADHDsquirrel :-) She seems to be getting more settled again now she's home. I'm just worried she might get the zoomies and bounce around too much so I'm following her like a mother hen constantly 😸

I have a tomcat recently a tom-kitten who must be to the vet's as well. Unfortunately he's a cryptorchid cat as far as I can tell it and the operation will be that much more complicated.

Your kitten is very pretty & I am sure she's going to be fine; it's hard enough to keep a kitten from wriggling around. Good luck!

Before we were sure that Treacle was a girl I was worried that she may have similar complications. I'm sorry that your kitty may have to go through a more difficult procedure 🙁 Treacle has settled down a lot now and she seems very happy to be home and lots of her favorite foods! But I will be watching and checking on her a lot to keep her safe :-)

Yeah. My other tom cat was walking around looking like the sign on a pawn-shop. I'm not even sure how he sat down without jangling everything.
He ended up getting neutered & adopted by some nice people a few states away.
I am glad your kitty is doing all right.
