Yes! Thank you! Unfortunately my health took a big hit as a result of the stress so it may take a couple days to recover but at least now I can focus on myself for a change..
Summer storm came through so getting a brief reprieve: it's only 107F outside (yay?)

I know what you mean. It is 105° F where I am today and expected to go back up to 111°F this weekend. Breaking records left and right...and not the kind of records I like to see surpassed.

It's been positive bizarre here that it rained almost every day for the last week. A week's worth of rain and it already surpassed the entire month's average for June. Normally I'd say our rainy days are definitely behind us. But with this El Nino, who knows?

Oh wow. Hopefully no flooding! We used to have large flooding events because of similar weather but haven't had one in a while. Guess we all just need to get used unusual weather happening often with this altered climate.

Makes sense as to why they have been doing some earth movement in raw desert next to my apartment building. Moving the ground to lessen the possibility of flooding that goes downhill here. Guess they are preparing for the worst, if it happens later this summer.
Haven't seen any bees this season.. very unusual :(

It is getting harder to find them! I am worried.
Saw some hives last weekend that were thriving, though; beekeepers are doing us all a lot of help.

Our flowers are blooming full and by now I see at least a couple but none so far. Beekeepers are unsung heroes they are..

It's still early. Many of the trees haven't even sprouted leaves, here in Oregon.
Finally 360 confirmation that I'm not being unreasonable, the only one frustrated, or that I'm being harsh. More vindication...

Me too :) I would love to do a giant jigsaw puzzle of one of these hi-res captures and put it up on a wall.
Still dryer and hotter than normal but a nice day..

Today has been 30 F and xnowing - - so far 5 inches of the heavy wet stuff.
Thinking about 3 yrs ago this week everyone was scrambling to find sanitizer and toilet paper...

That’s so crazy to me because that means I have been self-employed for three years. I quit my management job right at the beginning of the pandemic.

To be fair, we knew where the sanitiser and toilet paper had gone. It was less of a case of finding it and more of a case of liberating it from selfish Gollums!

I remember driving down the highway that goes to the beach and there was absolutely no one out there. And no airplanes either; the air actually seemed fresher too.
This warm spell is wack. Shouldn't be 95 degrees in March.

I'd trade you a little warmth for the chill and the half-hearted snow right now.
