    So cute, l clicked on it. I love the expressions on the cat and the lady! The cat's body is so proportioned in relation to the lady's body, yet, the cat looks super cuddly. I have a very hard time with sizing of limbs and angles, that is an excellent skill you have, and your picture has life and emotion in it. Even the size of the cat head, and her head are perfect.

    Sorry for being quiet last few days! I'm currently in Switzerland with my girlfriend. With all the distraction with my dad's car and the mad rush to get packed, train delays and hotel WiFi not cooperating, I haven't been able to post for a while. It's nice to be able to access the forum again! :)

    Ok :) If I see someone in cosplay, I will be brave and ask them if they are Owliet, hopefully I won't freak them out! Lol! I was in a small village today though, we are mostly spending time with my girlfriend's mother so we were at her home today. I didn't see any cosplaying villagers sadly :(

    Now that I think about it, maybe it's best to not ask if she's Owliet if you see someone. It could scare her and make her run away. It would be a little unexpected, poor Owliet.

    I finally had to give in and take some pain killers. I just noticed something weird. I went to get the painkillers and I felt like I was pulling a very obviously discomforted expression on my face, but I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I looked about 10 times less distressed than I actually am. Strange!

    Well, I've been hard at work fixing up my dad's Prius for it's MOT. I performed surgery on the Hybrid battery, all seems good. I tidied up a couple of small things, cleaned the interior and gave the outside a decent wipe down. So it's all looking pretty smart. I hope it passes tomorrow as I'm in considerable pain now. But I had to get it done. I hope it gets through so I can rest up :)

    Question: why are Prii so terribly slow? Are they just being driven by folks not in a big hurry, or are they actually that much slower than a gasoline car? Rode in an electric car once & it was like going up in a plane it was so fast.

    They can operate in pure EV mode up to around 30mph depending on how the ECU thinks the battery is coping. I think people want to drive frugally and it becomes a bit of a game to get the highest MPG you can. My dad's has a 1.8 cc engine, it's rated as 0-60 in about 9.7 seconds. It's the fastest Prius you can get I believe...

    ...I actually think it may be a bit pessimistic though. It gets up and goes rather quickly. The CVT transmission is very responsive. But driving fast will make the MPG more conventional.

    Sadly my phone camera can't do it justice, but the sky looks like the artwork for the Smashing Pumpkins Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness album. There's flocks of seagulls everywhere and the sky is sea green. I just can't get my phone to capture it :-/

    They are just about visible I think, one or two of them at least :) I think maybe I should invest in some sort of DSLR, occasionally I see things like this and think it would make a good photo, but phone cameras aren't up to the task :-/

    The lens is everything. It doesn't matter how good the electronics is, you can't get a good shot with a 3mm lens.

    Thanks @Gerontius :) I think I'm now after pure exasperation, going to have one more try with the doctor. Maybe this time they will actually conduct some tests or scans this time :) I can hope at least :)
