  • I need to make sure Petey and Morrigan are ok.

Morrigan’s stuff is downstairs while Petey’s is upstairs.

I went back home to get some stuff and both cats are ok.

What I was asking was, how did it come about that your mother & stepfather take care of
one cat and you take care of the other, as a general thing?

My mother wanted Morrigan while I’ve been caring for Petey for many years now.
Was it general anesthetic you had?
    Or twilight sleep?

Did they give you a prescription for pain medicine?

    Prescription Tylenol & Ibuprofen?

Any idea the name of the anesthetic you had?

My mother and stepfather have shelf bought containers of both things.

I think it was propofol. I looked up my MyChart but I don’t see the name of the anesthetic.

Propofol is a light duty product, often referred to as inducing twilight sleep.

"shelf bought", so OTC, over the counter, not prescription pain killers.
Not being able to properly sleep and do most activities due to the power being out is wearing on me.

A few years ago pigeons brought down a power cable. Each time I thought of something that I could/wanted to do I couldn't because it needed mains power in some way. Nothing short of a miracle that cable didn't cause a fire though. It came down in a field of highly flammable crop stubble!

Wait, why does the power being out prevent you from sleeping? Anyway it could be worse... where I'm at the power goes out if someone breathes on a pole too hard. I keep a lantern on my desk here at all times because of how frequent it is.

    Markness has a CPAP.
    Requires electricity.

Sounds like they don't have a generator for emergency power outages.
I took a bath without getting my neck wet. I need to relax now, though.

You could have taped plastic wrap over the area before getting in.
To make sure the area didn't get any splashes.
I defeated Radahn in Elden Ring. It took many hours to level up to where I could face him and took some hours to finally best him.
Dang it! I messed up trying to tighten Dragondress Sophia’s joints.

Looks like her joints aren't the only thing that's tight lol
The scratchiness in my throat has largely subsided.

I was surprised at how hoarse I was following an exploratory procedure.
    I didn't know about this, beforehand>>>>>

Sometimes my CPAP will dry my throat.
I really wish there was an up to date book for people like me who want love but can’t achieve it.

Yeah, I'm going to second what @Raggamuffin said. If you're going to just keep ignoring advice and shooting yourself in the foot over and over... which is what you've been doing... no book is going to do anything. So, stop doing that.

I am quite sure that there are lots of books out there for this. And @Raggamuffin has given you a recommendation for one.

I was trying to recall the name of the book @Raggamuffin mentioned the other day. I love coincidences like this, because I was also going to recommend it to @Markness even though I only remember briefly skimming it
Why does most of the autism community hate me?
    O
    Owliet
Why are you desperate to make amends with these people when they have excommunicated you from them? I dont know what happened but if they’re being rejected a lot then maybe its best to just let it go.

@Owliet It hurts to be disliked but I suppose I can learn to manage it. I am willing to let go most of these people. There is one exception and I don’t know if she’s truly ghosting me or if her email address is not working anymore.

    Owliet
    Totally get that.=)
Was I destined to go through life without a partner because I didn’t date in high school?

    Okay @Markness
You need to do what is right for you. You have made some excellent changes, and you decide what is best for you. Don't let your mother tell you everything. You let her know you respect her, but you need to make your own choices.
    Markness
    Markness
@Aspychata Yes, I am sick of her ruining my life and I want her to stop being a control freak. I really think it’s her fault that I don’t have a girlfriend.
    Aspychata
    Aspychata
I think there may actually be some truth to that. Sometimes mom's dont want their children to mature and grow up. They wish to keep their child dependent. The only way to break that is to nicely start talking to her about this. Ask her is she open to having a girlfriend live with you at home. This is an excellent way to decipher if she supports you. But go slowly and carefully with this okay?
