    I’ve turned in my reflection journal and my digital portfolio with my cover letter, short story project, and final essay. My brain feels like it’s been properly exercised.

    My final essay is done for the most part. I also have to do a “cover letter.” That’s new to me.

    Online vendors are crazy lately--A month ago I bought wood parts for a desirable, historically interesting 12-gauge shotgun, and they didn't ship them. I finally contacted them & they shipped them instantly. Turns out, they just "forgot." Over a month, for $275 worth of custom carved wooden parts.
    I'm glad I have the parts but yeah I hope you get your comics in.

    I've been lucky to find a lot of great discord communities, the format is just weird sometimes and it's easy to miss a lot of conversations when you're busy

    You could just find something you like & comment on it, ask questions, generally just hang out! Nothing stopping you there, except perhaps the old dread & loneliness. Socializing is hard but on here at least it can be kind of fun.

    The year is almost over and while I am still alive, I am still depressed and lonely. Will there ever be a year when it ends with me having a girlfriend?

    @Owliet I definitely don’t want to emulate my dad. He only wanted to be a “player” and would run when the women found out he was living multiple lives. He also used his status as a doctor to attract “gold diggers” whom are sadly common in my state’s messed up culture.

    I once saw something that said that if you go through life without regrets then it’s not a life lived (or something like that). I have a lot of regrets, and have missed out on many experiences too. You may not fully get them back in the setting that you should have experienced them in, but it’s not too late to gain those experiences.

    Brains are pretty resilient! I've always been like that in finals too, but then afterwards I always can think of plenty to do in break season.
