  • I am selfish for thinking my friend would want to talk to me.

That’s not selfish! Friends talk to each other. It’s okay to want your friends to talk to you.
I love going to the market with my mom and observing her when she talks about the food there. It makes me especially happy seeing her happy because a food reminded her of our home country.
Am I doing something wrong? Yesterday I was getting frustrated, and my mom was not helping so I went to talk with my dad about my problem. I thought everything was fine today. I accidentally got distracted and my mom told me to get back to work. I said I'm sorry forgive me and went back to work however my mom yelled at me saying no excuses and don't go crying to dad. If I did something wrong please tell me.

yelling is not okay. and "don´t go crying" is very rude. you´re 17, so nearly adult, you don´t have to put with that. I would show strength and show that she can not treat you like that and that she has to respect you as much as you respect her. when someone treats you bad, either break up (it´s your family, so better not), or clearly claiming how the other person should treat you. showing dominance.

but it´s difficult when you are dependent on them, because you live with them. so decide yourself what the best for you would be. or you could speak with her calmly. but that not always works. in some cases it only gets better when kids move out from their parents.

If she's uncomfortable with the idea of you letting other people in on the situation (such as your dad) then personally I'd put that in as red flag number 1. Could've just been your mother having a bad day though, but she owes you an apology.
I feel sad because if my parents and brother have cat allergies that means I might have a cat allergy. Cats are my favorite pet animal :-(
my mom always tells me I'll get sent to a psych ward if i stim at all. is this true?

That sounds a lot like "the boogie man will get you if you don't watch out."
A method for controlling behavior of children.

I was always threatened with stuff like this when I was a kid. Like tree said, it's a method of controlling kids' behavior. It's a fear tactic. There are also so many different forms of stimming that it would be hard to imagine that people would be on the lookout for any old nonspecific stim, just to send someone to a psych ward.

in 1 year you´re adult, that makes things a lot easier. lol in some states they are differences: Age of majority - Wikipedia in the USA you´re adult with 18, 19 or 21, depends on the state. interesting. but mostly with 18.
I bought a powdered drink mix a week ago at this cheap Guatemalan store. Today I finally used it. I followed the preparation step by step and the final product tasted terrible. -3 points for having a contradictory back label. I will try doing it again but with the actual serving size.

Was it too strong? Too weak? Do you have to add sugar?
