Do you suppose there is an overall answer to that question? Where would it be found? Census/survey documentation? Anecdotal evidence?

I'm 45 never dated or had a girlfriend. I never even been close friends with a girl either.

I answered almost this exact question from you about a week ago. Do you think I was lying, or did you forget? I'll quote my answer again. Your question was:
"Is there a cutoff age to getting into a relationship? I fear I’ve hit it because my efforts to get a girlfriend always fail."

"No [it doesn't]. Several people get into a relationship in their 70's or even later. My mother got into relationship with a man (who I heavily suspect is autistic) well into his 50's who had never been in a relationship before. He lived in a small apartment where he hoarded films and books. He was also pretty unfit and ate lots of candy."

@Stuttermabolur could be waiting for another answer that might be easier to accept....? In this case, in the negative. Unless it's rhetorical

@LadyS No, I actually want to know if it’s possible. My thoughts just won’t stop ruminating on this struggle.
