  • Why is life so easy for others while I always get dead ends?

Because you have a terrible attitude and are extremely pessimistic. Almost all of your posts are negative. Instead of saying "why is life better for others" you could say "why is *my* life better then others" its all about attitude and perspective.

All lives have hard parts. You get less of them when you resist making self-inflicted injuries.

You're an author. To make this more interesting say "I will sever my family's web." Put it in active case & roll on from there. You won't fail; you'll either win or learn.
How can I get my creativity back without resorting to Adderall?

@Markness You're saying you find that your thought process is more fluid when you using Adderall? Chemical stimulation isn't necessarily the answer (ie coffee/caffeine).
Is getting out of a rut truly harder the more you are stuck in it?

Yes. Have you ever managed to sink a car in a dirt road? The more you sit there spinning the wheels, the more it will get itself hub deep.

No, read that closer & apply to reality. You have been saying nearly that exact same thing for years & it has gotten you more of the same. Why not try a different tactic? Those have been giving you a little bit of good results.

Sleeping would probably be the most leisurely activity of all....
I think I am going to cry myself to sleep.

I discovered that crying myself to sleep worked for me in high school, as far as making it possible to get to sleep.
I forgot to call back to get my blood tests scheduled.

@Markness Were you ever able to establish that some particular doctor wanted you to have blood work done? And get that scheduled? The lab I go to doesn't schedule blood draws. You just have to show up during their working hours & be able to say which doctor is sending you in for work.
    Aspychata

Good point tree. Usually your doctor's office sends you with instructions to go get lab work done. Do you have any paperwork that you didn't look at?
    Aspychata

Or instructions to call such and such number and schedule.
How can I feel like a romantic relationship is going to happen for me?

You are asking how to develop and maintain a feeling...

Don’t people who want relationships often make it a goal?
    tree

That's another question. When I said "You are asking how to develop and maintain a feeling" I was re-stating your first question. Re-stating it in more concrete terms.

@tree When I woke up after the night at the show. It’s been hours since.

Oh, so it's not a long term condition at all. It should gradually abate. (I was at one live performance that, afterwards, when we were walking home, and then decided to run [it was a nice summer night]....couldn't even hear my shoes on the sidewalk.)
The show was disappointing in some ways and my ears feel seared. I don’t truly fit in with the subculture I wish to be a part of.

I love concerts and nightclubs. But I think I’m in the minority on that one lol

Sometimes the subculture isn't as interesting or nice as you think it is. Just saying. I went down a bad rabbit hole and found out people are quite mean.

Musically, things were good. I just felt it could’ve been better and my social interactions were disappointing.

I never have been to a concert for the social interaction, as far as conversing goes. To me the interaction was being in the mass of people and enjoying the bands/music. I wasn't there to talk.
