    The stories are mildly amusing, although sometimes formulaic. (There are lessons and stories, for listening to and/or reading.) Very very short stories.

    Drinking a large Dutch Bros. coffee on an empty stomach, little food intake, driving around a lot with the windows rolled down, eating potato chips before hiking, and getting scolded by the hiking group leader.

    It's Texas, so yeah probably. The mentality is similar to those old cartoons where drivers run people over and then stamp person pictograms on their cars to brag.

    I love firearms & radio repair--Bullets & solder are both made of lead. Lead would not exist in a 6000-year-old universe but it's plentiful. Guess you could say that argument is--Shot to Pieces?

    I have been wondering about Punctuated Equilibrium, if global warming would get to a point where humans suddenly evolved to better cope with it. Similar to the plot of the novel Darwin's Radio. Hollywood always treats this as "wow we all get kewl superpowers!" but in real life we would change to cope with environment shifts.
