Maybe you write a story, or let us know what you like so far at this place? You will heal and be yourself in no time!!
Has anybody watched Aspergers are us? It's a doc of netflix I really liked it. I know people like them and it felt relatable to me as well.
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I may not be celebrating but I am still eating chinese food with my family and having a good time

thank you! I miss this forum. I don't have much free time these days but I still check my notifications every couple days so I can still be reached by PM. Your comment made me so happy it's good to know that others think of me as much as I think of them.

@Butterfly88 no I am in a group home transition program. We do have laptops just ones given to us on their wifi. They can see what we do. @phantom See above @Varzar I think to make sure we are not doing anything "bad" the overall company does not allow connection to their wifi ever I think for security reasons.

I understand. Sort of frustrating they don't afford you more of a sense of privacy though. :/

@PastelPetals Oh okay. I honestly have no idea if they track what I do here but I’m not doing anything terrible. But I agree with @Varzar that more privacy would be nice.
Turns out I can't connect to wifi I am using a hotspot now but I might not be on much since I can't be on here on mobile. I am sad about tha

Maybe you could go to the library. It's not the same as using a phone, but libraries do have internet.
I have made it. It is nice here and the people seem nice thus far. They have a nice bay window good for sitting in and it's mostly quiet.
So I did a neck ultrasound and I guess I do have Hashimoto's after all. I do feel a lot better since taking synthroid and I leave Sunday!

I have a low TSH, I think that's the polar opposite of Hashimoto's. I've only been treated for it by Naturopathic Doctors with herbs and supplements. It was pretty effective. How does the medication work or make you feel? I'm very curious.

@Yeshuasdaughter Well Synthroid is just the synthetic version of T4 (thyroid hormone) TSH is the hormone your brain puts out to tell your thyroid to make T4 but mine does not do a good job at that so I have high TSH. Since it's just a replacement of the hormone it's been good. No side effects so far and I have energy now!!
Two weeks till I move! Also yes I am still here but I am have tired so I have not been on but my thyroid meds are slowly starting to work

Good luck with the move! I hope your thyroid meds help. My thyroid meds help me.
Tinnitus won't let me sleep. It's been super bad 24/7 this week. Then I can't sleep..then it gets worse. It's an awful cycle.

I'm not trying to drown the sound out. It's a high pitched thing, for years, unceasing. The tv music just gives a little something else to think about. Rather than that high pitch....which is not at all pleasant or fun to consider.

Tree is kinda right, she often is. It's hard to get used to other noises sometimes. A ticking clock, an electric fan, the bathroom exhaust fan, soft music in another room, the spooky sound of a barely cracked open window

They are a distraction from the internal noise. It doesnt work always or for everyone. Does anyone still use wind up clocks? Tick tock tick tock, it's very soothing. I used to have several in my quarters
    I don't think I like change actually

I am packing for my trip and I am realizing the way I dress does not work with summer. Why must i have everything covered to not feel expose!

The Muslims in the Middle East wear clothing that covers them from head to toe during their extreme summers. By law, women in Saudi Arabia wear a robe called "abaya" when in public, that covers their entire bodies, then they must wear a veil, so only their eyes are exposed. The point is that there are humans who always cover themselves completely in summer, so you can too.

Make sure your clothing is loose fitting and allows your skin to "breathe". Muslim men in the Middle East wear a robe called "dishdasha" that covers them yet is loose fitting. Seriously, research clothing styles of people like Middle Easterners who wear full body coverings in 120 F heat.

I like shift dresses and flat shoes, like Skechers go walk, try layers ,have a sleeveless dress ,cargo shorts ,a cotton cardigan ,a shirt with a high neck, so you can dress for your individual temp!
