    It's pretty much flavored plastic. Having said that, I've eaten a lot of it because it's cheap and fast.

    IMO Nissin Cup O Noodles is worse. Not sure what it's made out of but said ingredient should be illegal.

    YES Nissin is gross. Maruchan isn't the Japanese brand. It's the cheapie Walmart and Dollar Tree brand.

    I wonder if the noodles from the Japanese sector of the company are any better the company apparently divided it's production producing for the US in the US and Tokyo for japan

    You can find instant noodles from Asia in any Asian-oriented ethnic supermarket. Since I live in California, such places are common. Walmart ramen is made in the US. I've eaten Asian ramen and it does seem to be somewhat better than US ramen.
