  • I’m reading a book I haven’t read in twenty years. Reading about all the characters I loved feels like reconnecting with old friends :)

It is fun to do this! I also recently picked up some novels I read in the 1990s and enjoyed revisiting old friends. It feels magical to me.
How do you pronounce Bolletje? In my mind it always goes to bottlejet. If you tell me how, maybe I can pronounce it right in my head, too.

I'm taking a break from the Internets for a bit, due to IRL requiring all of my focus atm. I'll probably be back in a few weeks, take care!

I understand that, glad things are going well!
Hey :) can I get your opinion please ? What do you think about aspies working in social care (learning difficulties) on one hand I can relate with patients but on the other I'd have to work hard to cover my own social blind spots - if that makes sense ?
would love to get back to patient care after being offerd a job - just alittle unsure.

I think it wholly depends on you. Being an Aspie doesn't have to be an issue when working in patient care, it can even be beneficial.
Hello and welcome! I hope you like this place and thank you for your posts!

By the way, do you wear makeup?

Occasionally. I hardly ever wear makeup at home or at work, but sometimes some light make-up for work or social gatherings. I've recently started experimenting with make-up beyond mascara and lipstick but I tend to use that for special occasions only.
