Back from Madagascar and I can say one thing with complete confidence: England is very cold. Time to eat slightly old diwali treats.
So, I'm going to Madagascar, in 2 weeks. Time to panic.

That sounds fantastic, going to Madagascar I mean, not the panic.

I'm excited, but getting everything sorted on such short notice is a nightmare, I have to get my vaccine boosters and malaria tablets private, no appointments available at the GPs.

If someone in Lord of the rings had their hair messed up by a goblin or a troll they would likely challenge them to a fight with swords. Or Gandalf would step in and turn the offender into a mouse.

Me too, one of the reasons I didn't go on vacation as usual in March. Couldn't stand the thought of being strapped into a tiny space.

It's the air I can't stand, it's so dry I feel the need to drink constantly (which makes me need to pee every half hour), it makes my throat and nose hurt, and my skin feel weird. Also, sleep is impossible.

What was the experience of swimming with dolphins like?

Absolutely incredible. It was a wild pod of about 200 so it was a little overwhelming with dolphins zipping around all over the place. They are so playful and interactive when you interest them (we were told to make lots of noise, dive and circle with them). It's wonderful to play and have staring contests with such an intelligent and beautiful creature.
