  • Shirt I've been wearing since last spring - just realized I never took the tags off. LOL
Was meeting some of my kids for lunch, but my granddaughter has flu and strep together. (They just left the doctors). Poor baby.

I hadn't got sick in over 6 years until my niece stated living with me. If I had my way I'd spray the kids with Lysol every 10 minutes. Hope you don't catch anything and hope the kiddo feels better as well.
I don't have a dislike for people. I like people. I just don't like being around people.
My son thinks I'm clueless. But his friend says same thing I did and he's like, "Oh. I see." Ugh!! What is it???
Why does my dog's tail wagging put a smile on my face? I speak. He wags. I smile.

Honestly, I don't understand the appeal of those places. Do NT kids really like them? I always thought they were dark and foreboding.

all kids were happy. I, on the other hand wanted to find a corner to stay in. Tonight and tomorrow re-coop time. I've always hated those places.
I told my daughter happy birthday dotter. Maybe I'll start calling her dot. :) (Except I do like her name).

When our kids were at home, we rarely used their given names (which we also liked). It was always pet names. (Sometimes my wife would go through a list of names until she got to the right one...!)

Even Erma Bombeck (a wonderful comic writer mom) used to talk about how she was always mixing up the names of her 3 kids. And her mother used to mix hers up and she was an only child. The line was, her mother would say "Edna! Ezra! Emily! How many times do I have to call you?" "Until you get it right. Why did you name me Erma anyway?" "Because it was easy to remember!"

Going to Charlotte to visit daughter, grandkids and son in law. Back tomorrow evening. Like seeing them - dread everything else.

    Sorry to hear that Pats.
Letting out who you are around people and in private is a lot like letting out gas around people and in private. (I just had to say that.)

True, but there's nothing like letting a silent-but-violent go in the vicinity of two people chattering away whilst blocking the supermarket aisle, then watching them wrinkling their noses at each other as they wonder if it was their gossipy chum that did it ;)
