  • Where I am: work. Where I'm not: socially eating with a bunch of people I know just well enough to know that I don't like. Advantage: work.
$21 for prescription toothpaste? At that price you'd expect it to brush your teeth for you.

At that price I'd expect 2 tubes. Which is what I got actually. Two tubes of prescription toothpaste for 20 dollars total. It was blue.

I'm going to use peanut M&M's from now on, to clean my teeth, they work really well.
So a guy walks up and threatens to hit me with a fiddle, and I say "whoa relax man, there's no need for violins!"
Can't swear around my dog, even casually. If you do, she slinks away and hides. She was abused as a puppy is probably why.

Think of your inflections more than words. Animals tend to react to how you say things more than what you actually say.
Turns out my car has not 1 but 2 catalytic converters and both need replacing. Words fail my attempts to describe my rage and anguish.

Aww, that's a bummer. You need someone who knows how to work on cars like Chance to help! Hope it doesn't break your bank!!! But at least you trust your mechanic which is more than a lot of us can say.

Yeah it's huge in my book to have a mechanic I trust. I actually trust him with my life. Long story that I've probably told before, but he's the volunteer EMT who carried my bloody body to an ambulance. Also, I just typed a too-long message: apparently the character limit is 420 characters. That's an interesting number for it to happen to be.

OMG, well thank goodness for both his EMT and mechanic skills. Since he helped save your life I doubt he's going to rip you off, XD. Geez you've been quite a dangerous lad in your past. Glad I'm not your mom!
has anybody talked about surgery yet,in the uk surgery is offered for animals with your health problem
    How's your back?
    LucyPurrs
    LucyPurrs
Oh wow! That's fabulous! I might need to know what it is- have severe leg pain and can hardly walk and it could be a lower back issue. Getting it evaluated next week. So if it's a back issue I might ask you for more info. Meanwhile I' so glad for you, YAY!!!!!

Well, looking at the device, it's got a logo that says "Novopulse". I know what I have here is a prototype, so it's not on the market yet, but soon!
could you order a TENS Machine ?usually works very quickly on pain and I forgot midwives use it on women giving birth, it works for 20 minutes at a time ,switches off automatically and you switch it back on again I presume it's for safety so you don't electrocute yourself, when my pain perception was more normal the pain stopped!!!!!!!!!!
don't put it directly on your spine

You can buy them without a prescription at the drugstore and it sounds like a good idea!
Threw my back out today. Bulging disc. Not sure what to do about it, ER just gave me some oxy and sent me home. If it isn't one thing...

Thanks you two. I'm alternating heat/ice, but the pain is so bad I can't really walk or stand, I spent most of yesterday in a wheelchair and now in bed. Not good, I'm needed at work, but from experience I'll be out for at least a few weeks. Not deadline-friendly.

Oh that sounds bad. Hope you go to an orthopedist or neurologist to see if something can be done. Wonder if a back brace would help the pain.
Dangerous morning tomorrow. Has nothing to do with Valentine's. IDK if I'm gonna walk out of this one. If I don't, take care of ya'llselves.

Thanks Mia, that's sweet, Happy Valentine's Day :)
I love walking around with a stress ball. People see you squeezing a stress ball and they just kinda...leave you alone.
