    RIP, Robin.

I've read that the great comedians all had horribly unhappy childhoods and decided to laugh at the pain. They then made a career of it. I'm surprised more don't end up like Robin, but he had a degenerative brain disorder on top of everything else.
I got into a car accident, so I’m not going to have a car for a while. My dad says that there’s too much damage for it to even be worth fixing.

The hood and front front lights are destroyed. The windshield is cracked. I’m not sure what else. It seems to be running okay, though.

Sounds rough, but if you open the hood and the radiator doesn't look crushed you might be able to fix the car. Hoods are available online or at your nearest scrapyard, and any glass shop can fit a windshield to an old car. Try Amazon, RockAuto, or Partsgeek for lights and other pieces.

Yeah, l have a older car and it is a mini truck. That's what l like, it's like a car for dummies, you can look up stuff online, straight forward.
    Me:

In the clearing stands a boxer
And a fighter by his trade
    And he carries the reminders
Of every glove that laid him down
Or cut him till he cried out
In his anger and his shame
"I am leaving, I am leaving"
    But the fighter still remains.
Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.- Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage,
And then is heard no more. It is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
    Signifying nothing.

Nice to hear a bit of "the Scottish play" - even if it does remind me of this clip from Blackadder which always makes me laugh:
