  • Off to look at another Luton van today. They're perfect for a camper conversion. Spacious as hell. Looked at this one yesterday, but it was a dud:

Perfect end to the weekend. Things just keep getting better. Its quite a lovely feeling, especially after so many poorly fitting relationships in the past. We've both met someone who is right for us.

Bully you. No matter how hard I try I can't find that special someone.
Lovely weekend with Meg. Day in the park yesterday drawing, music, Thai food, iced coffees. Viewed a van in London with her today. Van life starts soon. Then went to Cambridge. Got Italian ice cream, had vegan noodles at a cafe. Went charity shop shopping. Had tirramissu and ice coffee too. Tonight we're going to have Chinese and a bit of hanky panky as I won't see her for 2 weeks when we go to a wedding together.

Sounds beautiful. So glad you quit that job. Another success story. We can be in relationships, just takes the right person to get us our of ourselves.
First craft fair was nice. Quiet, but I got leads on 3 regular events. A lot of positive responses on the quality of my work, and a great vibe and feeling about the whole thing. People were friendly and warm. Foot traffic wasn't huge, but I expected that. This all feels right though. Looking to work up to 1 fair a week in the coming months.
A tearful and very real moment. Me and Meg confessed our love for each other. The first time I've said "I love you" and it hasn't felt hollow. Truly, this has been a very special relationship, and a solid foundation for the future.

I think soul mate is an apt description. We are similar on so many levels with regards to beliefs, actions, personality, history, personal tastes etc. It's uncanny.

That's beautiful. So happy for you. I met my soulmate, but he refuses to acknowledge. Not this lifetime. He has much healing to do.
Been doodling my logo in graffiti for hours with chisel tip markers. How can people abuse solvents? The smell gives me a headache. It's grody.

That's beautiful. I met a soul mate but he isn't ready for me. Maybe in another lifetime. He is on the spectrum. Your timing is right. You quit your job and she came into your life.:) sorry this ended up in the wrong post. Lol
"A 2021 systematic review Trusted Sourcefound that there’s a link between insecure attachment in early childhood and developing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) later in life."
Spent the night printing and framing. Ran out of A4 frames now until 50 more arrive on Monday. Phwoar. I need to unwind now. Been at it all day.
Another highly productive day. Another afternoon of exhaustion. I need some "me time" but I keep wanting to get more done ready for next Sunday's craft fair.
Went out in peak heat. Haven't felt 38C since I was 14 and visited Germany one summer. In direct sunlight it's too much within a minute. In the shade it's not too bad. Drove to the woods - A/C struggled to be super cold. Sat in shade and had a smoke and ponder.

38C in the shade or in the sun?
I'd worried I wouldn't find the drive to do daily work on my art/business. But it's finally started happening naturally and I'm happily investing hours a day into building this up.
Went into Cambridge with Meg in the convertible car. I dressed up quite smart and got a lot of looks. I mean...a hell of a lot. It started tiring me out towards the end. 2 people shouted Peaky Blinders...
Got back from London after collecting my pictures from the gallery. The owner asked if I had anything else on, and I said I'd be starting art & craft fairs soon. He told me that's how he started out too.
