  • Third times the charm. Trying Concerta XL and see if I can weather the storm with the side effects until the dissipate. Here's hoping.

*Talk to your doctor* is the repeated message for 'how to manage' side effects....
This picture was the conclusion to Cornwall. Perhaps that's why I've felt so ill and stressed recently whilst getting it completed:

Mounting fatigue is leading to frustration. Done a lot of art the past few days, but it's not aiding in relaxation.
Had to answer a bunch of questionnaires for tomorrow's medication review. As ever - I score really high for anxiety, depression and ADHD. Just need to send them over my blood pressure readings, as I'll likely be put back on stimulants.
Over the 16 years I've been staffing, I keep jamming the same finger. Not a pleasant injury, and the healing time is usually pretty long. Still, I'm hoping for a speedy recovery.
The drive home made me realise other bits that need fixing on the van. But for £3100 - I got a lot of van. Made a short video with the usual excited, silly voices.

Got the van back. It definitely needs some work, but I already knew that when I bought it. It was only £3100 which is a lot of van for the money. Full service and some other repairs in 1.5 weeks, and then a quote from the bodyshop on 30th Aug.
My folks vibe is really weird this morning around the van. I've spoken a lot about converting a van to live in. Last night my mum was shocked that I planned to live in a van....really? Then this morning there was drama over my request for a lift to the train station to pick up the van. It's quite tiring living here. It's good that I'm working on my own freedoms and a quirky place to live. Can't wait.
Off to see another van. Its 2 hours away, but only half hour from the site Meg is working on. So we get to spend an evening together :)
Off to look at another Luton van today. They're perfect for a camper conversion. Spacious as hell. Looked at this one yesterday, but it was a dud:

Perfect end to the weekend. Things just keep getting better. Its quite a lovely feeling, especially after so many poorly fitting relationships in the past. We've both met someone who is right for us.

Bully you. No matter how hard I try I can't find that special someone.
Lovely weekend with Meg. Day in the park yesterday drawing, music, Thai food, iced coffees. Viewed a van in London with her today. Van life starts soon. Then went to Cambridge. Got Italian ice cream, had vegan noodles at a cafe. Went charity shop shopping. Had tirramissu and ice coffee too. Tonight we're going to have Chinese and a bit of hanky panky as I won't see her for 2 weeks when we go to a wedding together.

Sounds beautiful. So glad you quit that job. Another success story. We can be in relationships, just takes the right person to get us our of ourselves.
First craft fair was nice. Quiet, but I got leads on 3 regular events. A lot of positive responses on the quality of my work, and a great vibe and feeling about the whole thing. People were friendly and warm. Foot traffic wasn't huge, but I expected that. This all feels right though. Looking to work up to 1 fair a week in the coming months.
A tearful and very real moment. Me and Meg confessed our love for each other. The first time I've said "I love you" and it hasn't felt hollow. Truly, this has been a very special relationship, and a solid foundation for the future.

I think soul mate is an apt description. We are similar on so many levels with regards to beliefs, actions, personality, history, personal tastes etc. It's uncanny.

That's beautiful. So happy for you. I met my soulmate, but he refuses to acknowledge. Not this lifetime. He has much healing to do.
