The girl serving me in the shop had her nails done in the same colour as Boxanne. She gave me a very warm smile as I left the counter.

That is so sweet. People being nice in public always makes my day too.
I have a box of press-on nails in my bathroom but I don't think I'm going to use them until I go to my summer cabin in June. They are short, I'm not making the mistake I made last time with the Stiletto nails. I'm not really a nail person because I am always outside in the dirt lol
Had a positive week at work.
The week before the boss and his partner had been off. Before that had been some very intense days of him micro-managing me and teaching me to suck eggs.
Since returning, seeing that I got logistics handled well, and the storage area of the mill wasn't cluttered with pallets of timber - he's taken a step back from the intensity.
    Such a relief.
Turns out I have a credit score of 968 out of 999.
When you eat a Ploughman's sandwich and it was nice, and now you feel nice.

I had to go look up a ploughman's sandwich. That sounds like a good thing. Nothing quite like good decent food--thanks for mentioning it or I'd have never heard of it.

    You look happy!
Bumped into Meg's brother yesterday. We went for a smoke down the meadow. Had a good chat. He's a nice guy, and I'd been meaning to have a one-to-one conversation with him. He's buying 2 of my art prints which is good news, and pays off some more money on the van.
Van is ready. Cycling 8 miles to collect from the body shop at 7:15am. Then drive 30 minutes to the horsebox engineers to drop off the van at 8am. Then, cycle 12 miles back home. Then, immediately drive 15 minutes in my car to Ely. Walk 20 minutes each way and have a 90 minute massage at 09:45. After all that is done I think I'll be happy to have a lazy Saturday afternoon and uneventful Sunday too.

Yes, it's a beautiful cathedral and visible for miles around as the Fens are so flat.

I envy your youth and energy, when I was younger I used to love riding the bike to and from work and I was one fit little bastard. At one stage I was living in Melbourne and riding 17 miles each way each day. Melbourne is very hilly and also has tram tracks, that kept my fit and very alert.

Congrats on getting this van moving forward on it's completion. Someone powerwashed my house, cleaned an extremely dirty gutter, repaired another gutter at a decent price yesterday. So happy today. It feels good getting projects done.
Laughs, smiles and hyperactivity on the drive to work. Single width farm road, bumpiest road ever. Huge puddles everywhere. Bouncing, bottoming out on the front bumper, aquaplaning, spray all over the windscreen, the occasional skid. Listening to music and having a wonderful time in the heavy rain and sleet. Wonderful 10/10
Been a while since I've felt bad dizziness. Had a good lunch, now to keep up with fluid intake and ride it out.
