      Measured my head measurements twice. Asked mum to as well. Left a fingers worth of extra space. Hat arrives and it's too tight. Wunderbah.

        No gizmos for me. I just put up with the discomfort for several hours. Now it's a lot less tight.

        Yeah, that hat stretcher was....quite the item. IDK how expensive a tight hat would have to be to warrant buying a special tool to make it fit.

        They are ok thanks. Saw a friend for the first time IRL yesterday. Drove a lot in the storm. Saw the dentist. Went for a pub breakfast. An evening meal in the city. Today my half brother and family visited. Just got back from seeing another friend. A lot busier than usual. Tired now.

        My dental work has been continuous since June. All private too, as my NHS dentist isn't doing drilling or "creating aerosols". Some of this private treatment costs over x10 that of NHS. It's obscene.

      Since the anaesthetic wore off, this final filling is horrid. It was in front of the recent wisdom tooth extraction site. It is very sore.

      Just finished washing my car by hand. It has so many stone chips. Not going to get it repaired though. I'll run this car into the ground.

        No reason for it to rust out early on you, though. Most motor finishes can be touched up with a tiny bit of paint.

        I love the paint on my Toyota--it's white enamel with no clear coat and it looks just like stove and refrigerator paint so I use that for touch-up.

        Garage paint shop quoted me over £1000 and that was before I got rear ended and someone scuffed the side of my car whilst parked up. Parking in the road is a bit of a car killer. Not only are the stone chips all over the place. They're in very unusual and hard to get to places. It's quite bizarre.

      Supposed to do 30 pro formas a day. I did 74 in under 2 hours. I'm working as fast as I can without having an aneurysm. This job sucks.

        It's horrid, but after 2 years of doing the same mind-numbing processes day in day out, I just can't seem to maintain prolonged focus for it anymore. That overtime helped because I could work in an empty office for an hour or more each morning.
