Got my new monitor today - HD wide screen - having to watch trip videos again. because they look great!

I had to replace my monitor last winter. Being into photography, I bought a 27" wide screen. WOW! Like you I have gone back to videos from my DVD collection. Reruns on a computer.

This is a 29" wide screen, which I like because it's not too high and still at eye level, which I need. The HD is fantastic. I just decided, as much time as I spend on the computer - photo editing, jigsaw puzzles, and here - it would be worth the investment and I was sooo right.

This past summer I went with my sons and his family out west and he had a go pro attached to the rear view mirror so I can re-take that trip over and over. :) And it looks like I'm there - again.

My monitor is going out and it's hard to be on the computer right now - so my time here is limited until I get my new monitor.

Is there a connector that will allow you to connect it to your TV to tide you over? Most modern tellies work as monitors too - my desktop PC is connected to our TV and is our main entertainment system.

Both my sons are excellent cooks but neither of my son in laws know how to cook. Maybe I was a better mom than I thought. hmmmm

My Mom didn't teach my brother how to cook, he taught himself. He's not half bad as a cook, but he cooks lots of 'heavy' meals.

Teaching a child even the most basic of culinary skills is a huge contribution to their future well being. They may choose to learn later, but if they leave the nest already equipped, they've a headstart. Good on you Pats.

Yep, during the Victorian era it was actually somewhat common to put thick stockings on table legs, so the legs wouldn't be "naked" and thus improper.

My dog whines and yelps when I play my harmonica. Does that mean he likes it and singing along or hates it and saying stop?

So maybe he thinks I'm assembling the pack. He does get excited and trying to get closer to my face as he - guess he's howling, it's just high pitched. :)

One of those million dollar questions with pets. If it bothered him I would think he would try and hide away from it. I suspect he is just getting excited and wants to join in. Noise making/howling is a pack activity - I have 4 who do it all the time :/

When I kept declining preventive tests I asked the dr why I would want to prolong my life and live to be 90 and not be able to do anything?

I've got a nice 30 hole Japanese harmonica. Haven't played it in years though. Went and got it out to give it a try and uh...I'm a bit rusty.

Know what you mean. I'm kind of in a similar mode myself tonight. Gonna be up a bit late, not feeling very "ME" tbh. Trying to work on the next script but I'm just not focusing right. Glad there's no dramas your end though :)
