  • I had to get off facebook today because it seems all the posts have very poor spelling and grammar. What do schools teach now?

I just got out of school, teachers try but when people post like that hours a day it's hard to unlearn and you know how restricted teachers are. So they make the college profs deal with it later :D

Probably agree with Qoyote, I have teacher friends and they just don't have the resources to provide better education. A lot of younger kids are struggling to learn the basics with very little progress through HS. You should see the worksheets they share with me... yikes!

Idea is to not be abusive as a teacher ,psychological abuse can kill ,encouraging a student to express their thoughts is more important than being a grammar nazi
Who, besides me asks the preacher WHY they're asking, when they ask if you're still around?

Two packs I got because they are soft and pretty. :) And only $2 for a 3 pack. I got one pack of 12 pair for $5 but they will be more spring, summer and fall socks. They're Avia and have a band around the foot part (arch support?) I did have a pair like these in the past and they worked great - that band was a little tighter and held the sock in place.
YAY!!! It's snowing - been waiting all winter for this.
