  • Hello!
I was just passing by to say that...I thought it was awesome that you have an AC signature!
I'm also a fan of these games!
    ^_^
Hope you're having a nice day!
Oh there are dolls that are 1000+ but I don't usually like those ones. Plus they are usually limited edition. I recommend starting with a fullset doll, meaning one that comes with a wig, eyes, clothing and shoes (not always included), and face-up. Then you can start to get a feel for them and then I would start buying separate wigs, clothing, shoes, having some commission a face-up for you. My friend Iza is a wonderful face-up artist. She did my boy Arwen, and My girl Trance.
Continued...sorry had more to say. Also never fear if you want to get a sculpt like one of mine. Everyone does thier own thing and sculpts that are the same can look totally different. Do you like more like my dolls or more realistic in terms of structure because Luts is one of my favorite places to get dolls from that is not an American dealer. Though if you are in Europe there are some places that are Dealers probably in your area.
You are soo welcome. I would love to help. I love when people get interested in BJD's. I find them soo much fun but they are expensive. My first boy his name is Yoshi, He is a DollZone X and he cost me $600 USA dollars. My most expensive one was my girl Dru she was a B&G Fullset Limited Halloween Aurora and she was $700 including shipping. MSD Sized usually are around 200-300 for just the sculpt, then usually around 300-400 for fullsets. My girl Ally (my avatar) is an inbetween size she is a 50CM and she is from OceanMoon. She has great mobility. My newest girl is also an OceanMoon and I love their craftsmanship.
I recommend also taking a look at other doll companies. Like Luts and fairyland. They are nice sturdy dolls. I don't know what kind of dolls you like do you like fantasy or more realistic. I will personally recommend looking at OceanMoon. I have two of their dolls and I love them.
I would recommend getting on the Den of Angels forum. They have a great newbie section you can peruse. I would start your first doll as not a hybrid. I would pick a sculpt from a company i usually recomend your first be a fullset doll. One that comes compelte or at least one that comes with their face-up done (the paint on their face) This kinda eases you into it. Otherwise I know a fantastic Face-up artist she has done two of my dolls and will be doing a third. You won't screw it up. I also recomend knowing what size you want...I would really look at Mint on Card for your first doll they have a lot of selections and are much more willing to answer questions via email. I actually email them all the time. I know who packs my stuff when they send it. I never have any issues with them. Denver Doll is ok but she often says she can get something in and then can't.
Ohh yah I think I have seen those. I actually got started because of an ex-friend in the hobby. My very first BJD was a DollZone X. So what I recommend for first time doll seekers is order a doll from an american dealer like Mint on Card (plus they do up to 6month layaway) or Denver Doll Emporium. What size of a doll are you thinking about something in the tinies like 11-15cm the less tiny 26cm range or the MSD 30-45cm range, then there are the size dolls I usually get the SD sized dolls 50-65cm range height. Then once i decide that then I usually choose hair color and sizes depend on the sculpt and size of your doll. I am on a couple of doll forums on is called Den of Angels (just if you join beware of SerpentSong and Acanthiel they are my ex-friends and don't understand anything about Autism), then i get eyes I prefer from Safrin doll but you can get them from lots of places. Then usually clothing and shoes.
Personally no. But I have seen them and they are very very cute. I have considered getting a couple my self but I completely fell for the BJD's. If you like those you might like some of the smaller BJD's. Which ones are you looking at. Just curious. I love Dolls they are my obsession.
