It’s been three weeks since volunteering at the thrift store. I have gotten a lot of great things from there and people give me free items. I love working there because it helps me interact with people to practice my social and communication skills. It also helps me to get out of the house. I get to help people out in return, which makes me feel useful and helpful.

I found the most precious thing at the thrift store. This cup has been there since I started working. For some reason, this cup is special than the others. It’s like this cup speaks to me in a certain way. I don’t know what it was, but I had to get it. Something told me to get it. Maybe it’s a past life type of connection.

I got my family a new dinning room table. I said to my mom and nana that it’s an early gift for mothers day. It was originally 200 dollars for sale, but I managed to get it for free.

I bought a couple of things from the thrift store today. I wanted to have something to remember my first day. I’ll go back on Wednesday.

Okay I’m back from the thrift store! I had such a fun time helping out and being able to get out of the house. I was sorting through clothes and hanging them up to be put out. My grandpa is the fixer in the thrift store. He works on different things and assembles furniture and other things. I captured a photo of the day.

I am going to volunteer at a thrift store today. My grandpa goes down there and volunteers all the time. On Saturday, he asked if I wanted to start volunteering at the thrift store. I said yes so fast because I want to get out of the house. I’m excited and nervous to go because it’s all a new experience for me.
