As an Englishman, I've always loved the sound of certain American place names, whether its towns, cities or states. Names like Wausau, Wisconsin, or Tomahawk, they really sound exotic and mysterious to me. Strange but true. I also like the picture, by the way. Really nice, simple composition. Great colour.

Thank you. Wisconsin has a lot of the interesting names. Many named after explorers, great Indian tribes, the state is known for its very deep forrests. Had a self imposed project of photographing each sunset for a year. Many were duds, but some reminded me of how short a time we have on this earth, and the beauty around us. The camera gives me a buffer between all the noise and confusion when out and about.... it's like magnifying life and saving a piece to look at more closely. @Son of the Sea
