Mystery Rock 01-A

Perhaps a meteorite? It has small gold or iron pyrite flakes and a high enough iron content to stick a strong magnet to it. Enigmatic rock for this area and the last of the rocks I have found on this property. The rest will be from other places.

Interesting. Might this be magnetite rock with pyrite?

It does not look like a meteorite to me, but perhaps you could grind down (sand) a small part of it and see whether it reveals native iron which would be a strong indicator of a meteoric origin...

I have so many mystery rocks.
Going to the regional Gem and Mineral Society show this weekend.
I go every year trying to identify rocks and if I find something at a price I can afford, will add to my collection.
