      @Juliettaa I love to preserve mechanical items from days gone by.
      By happenstance, I located the saw attachment for the drill motor I restored earlier this year.
      A Skilsaw circular saw from the same era was a $60 purchase, so thin nonsense compromise probably looked like a great deal at the time.
      It would have cut poorly and been hard to control.
