I have to wonder if anyone views themselves as completely normal, perhaps nearly everyone thinks that they are odd in some way.

I posted a short video of storm Michael on a blog. Just a couple minutes long and pull up through my facebook page.

Is it just me, or does your morpho avatar merge with its background to create a winking lion?

I also saw a lion when the image was small. It looks like a blue morpho butterfly over a fantasy moon when you look close, but when seen as a small image it looks like a lionness using her vomeronasal organ to smell something she finds weird.

It is a Blue morpho superimposed over a blue diamond background so when it is shown small it looks like the face of a blue lion or jaguar.
I always thought it looked like the eyes were squinted and the mouth slightly open as if trying to talk. Or maybe the butterfly has lit on her nose and they are interacting. :)

I knew every light in the house would be on when the electric came back on because I kept trying to flip lights on every room I went into.

LOL...I didn't make the dough by scratch. I just followed the directions on the container. Though it wasn't easy getting that rolled up cardboard to come undone so I could get at the dough! But 11.5 minutes worked fine at 350 degrees. Lucky guess on my part.

Just finished rewatching Firefly and Serenity for the first time in about 10 years. Still just as shiny as ever.

Every time I see Nathan Fillion in a new acting gig I want to scream, "Mal, how could you do this to us?" But yeah, it wasn't his fault.

I do exactly the same. He's a decent actor, but every time I see him I find myself exclaiming to my wife "it's the guy from Firefly!"
Last time was in "Santa Clarita Diet" :)

I've considered watching Castle, just because it has Nathan Fillion in it.
