If you have any more questions I will be happy to help.
One thing that I spent money on was tutors. Even if it is for daily homework.
Even if a high school student.
It is worth the money. It takes pressure off of you and you get to spend quality time without the Homework Wars.

I think that the traditional ABA way of training autistic is okay
But.....for high IQ individuals, you have to deal with them in a different sort of way.
My husband was great at this. It is the art of seduction. So instead of hard nosed authoritarian parenting, you have to appeal to them intellectually.
So, like getting Heart Math is a science to it all and that is appealing to smart kids.

Just remember that the psychological organization is a place of people where the one's in power direct funding and study of research. Out of the box thinking has to be handled carefully.
As you study you will find things that resonate and not resonate with you. You will then put them together and that is how you will develop your methods of counseling or research.

I'm only a humble Aspie, I have been close to suicide, life has felt painful, I'm 54 now, and realising that life is finally getting better. I hope my posts can help you. God exists whether we believe or not, I am not religious, God is still there, my faith keeps me going.

@tree I’m doing an online course on homesteading, and apparently, a cow breed called Mini Jerseys, is actually easier to care for as livestock than both, other cow breeds and goats. I was under the impression that cows are some of the hardest animals to care for as livestock, but apparently goats are just as hard as cows; while Mini Jerseys are much less demanding than other cows breeds.
