I just told my sister about my autism diagnosis. Her reaction: it doesn't surprise her. I don't know how I feel about that right now :D

Sounds like she is chill about it. I am happy for you!

I told my trustworthy friends. They have not judged or treated me differently at all. It's a relief because now I can be myself around them.

Thanks. Yeah, somehow, I didn't expect that reaction. She used to be very judgmental (and still is about some things). Her current job really seems to have given her some new perspective. It's weird but I guess it's good
Don't care that I'm 34 soon, my teddy comes on vacation with me :p 😍

I have a little stuffed cat in bed because my actual cat won't sleep with me lol.

Aw that's nice. Well we all have a hotel room each and it'll be the first time I've ever slept in a hotel room on my own so I need a bit of company at night, and yes a teddy bear is good company if you are attached to it enough. I just hope the hotel has WiFi too

Have fun with your teddy on vacation! I strapped a big stuffed pokémon on my backpack to go on my trip. Let them stare if they want (by the way: no one actually stared - however, I usually just don't see it when people stare :D )
A bucket fell on my head. It was empty but made from rather stern plastic. It hit the top left of my head. I saw stars for about 1 second. It hurt too. Will this result in brain damage or epilepsy? Or would it of had to be more fatal for that to happen?
M
Misty Avich
Ouch.
I just worry in case my brain is more delicate than the average brain due to being Aspie and it seems common among spectrumers to develop epilepsy and things, and that is one co-morbid I've never had.

If your vision is foggy / blurry, you definitely have a concussion. Treat it like a migraine, but stay awake instead of napping for at least 5 hours. The old school rule of thumb, if you will, per hits to the noggin - if you feel a swollen lump on your head, you are far better off than if you feel no lump at all. No lump at all is when you absolutely go to the doctor.

If you still feel considerable pain now (since it was a while ago), feel dizzy, nauseated, have trouble with your vision or get any other neurological things, a concussion is probable and you should see a doctor. If it's fine by now, you should be okay. It shouldnt cause epilepsy or brain damage just like that in a young, healthy person, without any bleeding or visible trauma. But see a doctor if you're worried.
I will never in my life go back to academics and step into an physical classroom in my lifetime due to the trauma of being ostracized. If I ever went back it'll be virtual only at the comfort of my home.
I hate when people ask me for answers to random questions. Just because I know the answer doesn't mean I'm an encyclopedia.

I'm someone who asks rhetorical questions a lot, and it's so annoying when people try to answer them. Lol
I wish some of you lived near Puyallup for late night movie watching marathons on weekends. I think my man cave was made more for guests than for myself.
I wish the message from the vet about picking up Petey was about him still being alive instead of his ashes. :(

I hope you have good memories of Petey.
My cat, Mew, has finally felt secure enough after three years to let me pet her.

I remember having to do that for my little dog, Leela. It is very very sad, Markness. Thinking of you and Petey. 💚
I still miss my ex best friend and our silly anime talks sometimes. *sigh*

I have recently started it, and it is fun with lots of interesting characters!

I used to watch a lot, but i think i liked Cowboy Bebop and Wolfs' Rain the best! What are your favorites?

Rose of Versailles, Chainsaw Man, and Higurashi: When they Cry Gou are some of my favs. It's so difficult to pick them out lol.

Cowboy Bebop is a classic, haven't watched Wolf's Rain (yet).

I could not finish Rose of Versailles, my heart could not take it! I watched Higurashi also, but not Gou i think.

Yes, it is hard to choose among so many good shows..
I can’t find two of my Mastodon CDs.

I hate the feeling of not knowing where my stuff is.

Generally I find the missing item(s) when I figure out where I was when
I way too casually put it/them down. Or trace out where it/they got knocked
down by one of the cats.

Frequently I put things in places that I always know. But sometimes my spouse moves things and then I am lost.

I have heard that there is also a prequel to "Paint Drying" in the making. It's called "Primer". :D It tells the exciting story that led up to the movie Paint Drying. People say it will make The Fast And The Furious look like Driving Miss Daisy. An action-packed thrill ride.

@Forest Cat , l heard Primer never made it to production, the video crew passed out from the fumes.
Can't sleep with an empty stomach. I've had 2 substantial meals today but now I feel so hungry again and my stomach keeps gnawing like it really wants food. But I'm meant to be on a strict diet so I know I'll feel guilty if I eat in the middle of the night, even if it's a piece of fruit (as fruit seems to surprisingly have calories).

Put me on 600lb life with Dr Now and get me that surgery!! 😂😂😂

Drinking water will just go straight through me and cause me to pee all night

So, instead of eating "two substantial meals" try eating four meals a day.
That means half the amount at a time, but more often.
I finally understand what a platonic friendship is. Not what those dumb women or a standard Google search gives you that makes it out to be which is almost borderline romantic. Just a standard mutual friendship which I have with my female friend.

Yes. You will experience a deeper friendship with the men in your church, so I encourage you to lean into that. The good news is that it is part of the Christian mandate that these same men help and support you. There is no worry about keeping up appropriate appearances.

I have and I am doing that. Thanks. I am thankful to have friends of both genders whether we hang out solo in groups it doesn't matter.

You may not feel this all the time, but you are an inspiration, Tony. I have worked with literal billionaires and they do not show the same kind of open attitude as you do.
What I hate the most is someone forcing me to communicate by talking. Whenever I talk, it doesn't come out right and I communicate better non verbally.

I ramble on endlessly my own way with great fluidity. The problem is that "my way" is not what anybody else wants to hear. When I do it "their way", then I'm a halting, stuttering autist, and they don't like that either. Don't play with those you can never win with.

I've learned this about myself as well. I thought I didn't like being social perhaps, but it is specifically being prompted into communication that irks me. Especially when tired. Sometimes I'll be prompted to give my feelings on something when I haven't even gotten to that part to myself yet which is frustrating as I'd need silence to figure it out thus halting conversation.
I am kind of sad i wasted my vacation with needless depression and anxiety thanks to the fight i had with my friend. Tomorrow i return to work and i don't feel relaxed at all.

Okay. Try to stay grounded. Slow breathing, pace yourself.
So, I just organized the laundry in piles that are the most efficient to wash, dry, and distribute and somehow my mom still mixes the wrong clothes together. I mean, why even bother at this point? Oh, yeah, my brain is built different.
