My therapist gave me her thoughts about my “root chakra” being a source for my struggles.

That sounds rather intellectualized.

Can you explain that?

Isn't that a term related to yoga? Does not seem very scientific.
I got a talking to at work from the supervisor yesterday.

I had a lapse in mindfulness and checked in an item that was damaged. The supervisor was not happy about that.

So the supervisor was mainly pointing out correct procedure?

Pretty much. He told me to always ask the assistants or him about any potential concerns.
And I dodged a bullet, as a guy I was talking with online blocks me after I made it clear that I do not have sex on the first date.

You have boundaries. Yes, recovery from abuse is actually boundaries.:)

I hope our new phones stay fast for a good long while! :) It's so much easier to post here with my new phone, my last phone sometimes only let me type one word every 2-3 seconds lol!

I held on to my last phone getting the cracked screen fixed three times. Now my current phone is so big. Lol
It's good to know that other adults get diagnosed with autism late. Kinda shows that there's always more to learn about the spectrum.
One of the dogs at the place I am right now might die soon (we found a nasty-looking tumor). I've only known the dogs for a month but I've grown attached, and I'm really sad about it. It's dog paradise here, he surely had a wonderful life, but I am still very sad.
I watched The Accountant tonight. I am floored by how good it is. And the main character Chistopher Wolf, is a High Funtioning Autistic. I personally feel like I could relate to alot of his behaviors and habits.

Saw this a couple nights ago. Enjoyed his flat affect delivery. And the scene of the farm family, him coming up with loop holes for them, was great.

I have to agree. Ben Affleck did a good job with portraying those aspects. In fact, I do feel that the movie in general give a better representation of ASD, since it's not just limited to Christopher Wolf. But shows others with varying severity and behaviors.

Though the father making the choice to expose Christopher to more of what would trigger his Autism, than trying to reduce it, is a interesting approach.
I got my tax refund and paid off my debts. Now I will get a Series X with my next paycheck.
I can’t stand most people

Therefore, I’m only going to interact with myself

Most people are garbage anyways, form a circle and go with it
So... Remember how I said I had a girlfriend? Yeah, not anymore; she turned out to be a PSYCHO. At least I was able to become a man first :p

Sounds like it was a rather brief affair based on a short acquaintanceship.

Glad I have a good casual friendship. I don't know where you find these women I meet her at a coffee shop, but where I hang out in church and yoga they are good people.
So, there's this thing that I've recently noticed around some members of my family. Since, finding out about my autism, there's the obvious "You don't look autistic and just want attention" responses, but what's worse than that is the ones who now treat me as if I were a child and can't do anything for myself (usually older family members).
I almost halfway through reading Clive Barker’s Coldheart Canyon. I might start on Jacqueline Carey’s Kushiel’s Chosen after that.
