Tony Attwood Answers Questions Regarding ASD

I found a series of videos where Tony Attwood answers questions regarding Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). I think these videos were a part of an interview conducted by the organization Spazio Asperger.

The videos are split up into seven parts and they're in English with Italian subtitles. The topics range from the usefulness of web forums for people with Aspergers to adult diagnosis, Aspergers in females, and cognitive behavioral therapies.

I thought these were interesting. Maybe someone else will too.

1/7: The usefulness of web forums for Asperger people
"Can forums and web communities be effective in supporting people with AS and their families through an awareness process of their peculiar situation?"

2/7: Social adaptation, pros and cons of the Asperger "chameleon"
"How can we help Aspergers who are trying to adapt to a social context by miming peers or role models with scarce flexibility?"

3/7: Asperger diagnosis in adults
"How can we diagnose an adult with Aspergers who hadn't been diagnosed in their childhood or adolescence?"

4/7: Subclinical Autism and Aspergers
"Does it make sense to diagnose a person with Asperger Syndrome if he or she has apparently good adaptive skills?"

5/7: Aspergers in the feminine and comorbidities
"What are the distinctive features of AS in females and what are the most common comorbidities?"

6/7: Adapting cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) to Asperger people
"How can we adapt a CBT programme to the cognitive profile of the single person?"

7/7: Third generation CBT for Aspergers
"Can a third generation CBT approach such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy be effective for Aspergers?"

I love love love love love these videos! They were really helpful for me. He's the only NT who seems to get it, imho - at least that I've "encountered" via books or videos.

Yeah, he does seem to get it. I think his material is really helpful too and I'm glad he does these videos. :)
